Description
This piece shows how Dr Seuss had to try things that were unconventional to become the success he was. All artists do. We have to think radically sometimes to solve problems. You have to “go out on a limb” to accomplish your goals.
If you see, he is counting the words he’s used so far. That is because he is trying to win a bet that his publisher challenged him to: $50 bet that he couldn’t write a book in 50 words or less. He won. Green Eggs and Ham was 49 words!
